현대인의 삶은 너무나 분주하고 인위적이다. 매일 같은 일상을 반복하며 단순하지만 분주한 삶을 살아간다. 단순한 분주함은 도전 의식 없이 새로운 것을 만들지 못한 채 이미 존재하는 것을 재생하고 가속할 뿐이다. 빠른 리듬의 악보를 그리다가 다음 악장으로 넘어가기 전 숨 고르기를 하는 것처럼 삶에서 잠시 멈추거나 느림이 지체하는 시간이 아님을 전달하고자 한다.

Modern life is overwhelmingly hectic and artificial, characterized by a simple yet busy existence where the same routine is repeated day after day. This kind of busyness, lacking is challenge, fails to create any thing new; it merely replicates and hastens what is already in place. Just as I drew the score with a fast rhythm and took my breath before moving on to the next movement, I want to tell modern people that pausing and slowing down for a moment in life is not a waste of time.
